AUG. 17, 2009

A guided visit to INHOTIM (hEnvironmental Park Reservation – including a huge contemporary museum, with a great myriad of art collections and 600 hectares of land and 45 hectares of gardens, with botanical collections and ornamental lakes). We will leave FDC campus at 1:30 p.m. and return to the hotel around 7:30 p.m.

Cocktail party and cultural presentation – 8 p.m.

AUG. 18, 2009

Gala dinner hosted by Aecio Neves, Minas Gerais state governor – 8 p.m.

AUG. 19, 2009

 

A guided visit to Ouro Preto (historical sites, churches, museum and shopping, handcrafts, soapstone works and gemstone lapidation). We will leave FDC campus at 1:30 p.m. and return to the hotel around 7:30 p.m.

Fundação Dom Cabral has already made a prereservation at Caesar Business Lagoa dos Ingleses Hotel, which is about a three–minute walk from our campus. FDC will cover accommodation expenses for all council members during the evening (Aug. 17-20).

GROUND TRANSPORTATION:

FDC will provide a ground transportation from Tancredo Neves' International Airport – BH / Caesar Business Lagoa dos Ingleses Hotel in Nova Lima / Tancredo Neves' International Airport. FDC will also assist you at São Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport, Congonhas-Airport in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro-Galeão Airport and Santos-Dumont Airport in Rio de Janeiro. There will be a corner with FDC signs and staff, who will give you information about your trip to Belo Horizonte.
