Poster Session Information and Guidelines
Meals
Breakfast: Breakfast is will be provided at the hotel.
Dinner: Dinners will be on participants responsibility.

Dress Code
Classroom sessions will be conducted in business casual attire. Tie is not needed.
Classroom Temperature
Following the guidelines established by ABNT (Brazilian Association of Technical Norms) NBR 16401-2 for thermal comfort, the temperature during classroom sessions shall vary between 21ºC and 24ºC. Feel free to bring a light jacket if it is of your preference.
Language
Portuguese is the spoken language in Brazil. Because Spanish is similar to Portuguese, most Brazilians can understand it to a certain degree but find some difficulty communicating verbally. In touristic cities many Brazilians have knowledge of the English language though not enough to speak fluently.
Currency
Brazilian currency is the REAL. Currently it is quoted around R$ 3,80 per dollar. Exchange facilities will be available at the airports as well as at banks and foreign exchange brokerage house in the city.
Cities
Location of Fundação Dom Cabral, Aloysio Faria Campus. Nova Lima is a town in the state of Minas Gerais, located in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte. Several mines are in the city. Minerals are extracted in the county, including gold. A study released by Itabira city hall on April 29, 2010, revealed that Nova Lima is the first city in Minas Gerais in quality of life.
